In case you haven't noticed by now, one of my biggest passions (besides photography!) is animal rescue and advocacy. As a resident of Raleigh, I am always following the great work that Friends of Wake County Animal Center is doing in my community. Among their many efforts, their main goal is to provide access to vital medical care, boarding and placement for shelter animals in need, thereby improving their health and reducing euthanasia rates at the center.
After attending a recent training session at the center, I connected with one of Friends of WCAC's volunteers. We brainstormed a bit on how I could use photography to help them, and we deciding on a Holiday Mini Sessions fundraiser! The sessions sold out super fast and, thanks to the families to booked sessions, we were able to donate $250. In addition to helping out a good cause, there was so much love and laughter during these sessions. See for yourself:
